Laboratory vacuum filtration units use

1. After the external power supply is connected, turn on the main power switch in the lower-left corner of the machine, and the power indicator on the control panel is on.
2. Open the upper ring of the filter disc, put filter cloth or filter paper on the porous sieve plate, then put down the upper ring and press it with the disc seat with the pressing hook.
3. Start the vacuum pump, and the pointer of the vacuum gauge reaches 91.1KPa within about ten seconds.
4. Pour the ore pulp into the corresponding filter disc, and the solenoid valve filter that starts the working filter disc will start to work. During the filtering process, do not start the non-working filter disc to avoid inflation and damage to the normal filtration.
5. When the filtrate level in the vacuum negative pressure tank reaches the upper contact point, the vacuum pump will automatically stop, and the air-release solenoid valve will open the filtrate to start discharging. until the end of the filter.
6. When the slurry in the filter disc is in cake shape after suction filtration, stop the pump and then stop the working filter disc solenoid valve. Discharge the liquid in time in the vacuum negative pressure tank by opening the solenoid valve of the non-working filter disc.
7. Open the upper ring of the filter disc, take out the filter cake, and wipe the upper ring to prepare for the next use.
8. During the working process and after the work, it is necessary to check whether there is water in the water separator and air filter. If there is any water, it should be released in time.
9. In order to prevent foreign matter from entering the solenoid valve, cover the two filter discs after the work is finished.
10. After completing the test, the main power needs to be turned off.

Special notes

1. Please be sure not to let the liquid pour into the pump, liquid poured into the pump will cause artificial damage to the machine due to water. A set of buffer cups is provided as standard at the air inlet port of the equipment. If you observe any liquid accumulation in the buffer cups during use, please stop working immediately, unscrew the buffer cups (threaded connection with the upper metal cover), pour out the accumulated liquid and wipe them clean, and then screw them back in again.
2. The filter bottle set is not able to filter all laboratory solutions, including but not limited to hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid with higher concentration and higher temperature, the alkaline solution with higher concentration and higher temperature or lower temperature, using the filter bottle set to filter the above solutions will cause corrosion of the glass material. Before use, please confirm whether the solution you need to filter can be filtered with the material used in this product.
3. For sterile filtration, please use the high-temperature autoclaving method, and avoid using solvent immersion, which will easily cause corrosion of attached parts, such as cracking of plastic parts and hardening of pipes.
4. When wiping the surface of the body, especially when using alcohol spray, please be careful not to let the liquid flow into the equipment heat sink.
