Solvent filters are mainly used in HPLC mobile phase filtration, particle matter analysis, and microbial contamination detection. Precautions for Use of Solvent Filters

1. Before use, you must check whether the accessories and sealing ring are complete and whether they are damaged, and then install it as required.
2. The new filter must be cleaned with detergent (please do not clean with acid). Sterilize, disinfect, and clean the filter with high-temperature steam after washing to avoid contamination.
3. When installing the filter, do not connect the inlet and outlet reversely.
4. The new filter element is packaged in a bag by the manufacturer in a clean production plant. Use a more demanding filter element.
5. When the filter element is inserted into the opening port, the filter element must be vertical. After inserting the opening port, the pressing plate buckles the fins and then tightens the screws. Rotate 90 degrees and clamp after the filter element of the 226 interfaces is the inlet. Please be careful, otherwise, there will be no seal effect and the water will leak easily.
6. When the filtered liquid enters, the vent switch on the filter should be turned on to fill the column with the liquid, otherwise, the filtering effect will not be good.
7. The pressure gauge of the cylinder is a liquid pressure display gauge. If it is a two-stage filtration, it is normal that the first filter pressure gauge index is slightly less. The longer the use time, their pressure will increase and the flow rate will decrease, which means most of the gaps in the filter element have been blocked, which requires cleaning or replacing with a new one.
8. When in use, the upper and lower flange mouths must be placed smoothly before the spring clamps can be clamped firmly, otherwise it is easy to damage or leak.
9. When clamping the spring clamp, clamp the protruding part in front of the spring clamp in the middle of the flange, otherwise, it is easy to leak.
10. The filter medium poured into the filter cup should not be too full. When there is no liquid in the filter cup, turn off the vacuum pump ( Standard Vacuum Filtration Pump, Anti-Corrosion Diaphragm Vacuum Pump) in time to extend the service life of the filter membrane.
11. During operation, do not allow the filter to tilt or fluctuate to prevent the filter medium from being drawn into the pump through the rubber tube, which may damage the vacuum pump.
12. If the filtration speed of the same filter medium slows down, check whether the filter membrane has accumulated too many impurities, and the filter membrane needs to be replaced in time.
13. During operation, prevent the filter medium from being drawn into the pump and use a vacuum pump protector.
