1. All products and gas contact parts of the anti-corrosion diaphragm vacuum pumps are made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) material, Including the internal diaphragm, cavity, gas path, and even the external pump tube interface are all PTFE material integrated injection molding, instead of using cheap rubber, stainless steel, and other materials to coat the surface. Although the cost of one-piece PTFE material is relatively high, it has strong resistance to chemical corrosion. At the same time, the body shell adopts anti-corrosion spray paint, and the power switch has a drip-proof protective cover to ensure comprehensive anti-corrosion.

Trouble-shoots of anti-corrosive diaphragm vacuum pumps

HAWACH has summarized the following common problems and solutions in the use of anti-corrosive diaphragm vacuum pumps.

1. Insufficient vacuum

Possible reason:
a. The connection ports and valves of the pump pipes and joints are inadequately sealed and leaking;
b. At the bottom of the regulating valve, there is a knob that can be rotated, that is, the regulating valve, which may not be tightened;
c. After long-term use, the PTFE valve gas sheet is aging and has insufficient elasticity, causing it to be unable to be sealed normally when it needs to be closed.

Solution:
a. Check the connection of each valve and pipeline, including the pipeline on the pump head, for obvious cracks and unsealed problems, and confirm that there is no leakage.
b. Turn the vacuum regulating valve to adjust the vacuum to the required vacuum.
c. Replace the PTFE valve air piece (if you need to replace it, please contact us to provide or replace it).

2. Unable to start

Possible reason:
a. The organic vapor is condensed in the pump cavity, and liquid is pumped in. The gas reacts with the air in the pump cavity to form a liquid, causing the diaphragm to stick;
b. Pumping a large number of liquid causes the rocker to rust;
c. Start capacitor is aging.

Solution:
a. Use a Phillips screwdriver to disassemble the square module on the pump head, inspect the diaphragm and concave air cavity, clean it (clean with alcohol, etc.) and assemble it as it is, and test the machine; if the diaphragm is severely deformed, it may need to be replaced (you should contact us).
b. In view of the inhalation of a large amount of liquid, which causes the parts to rust, first replace the rocker connecting rod group to restore the normal function of the machine. Secondly, a buffer bottle should be added to the front end of the corrosion-resistant diaphragm pump. It is recommended to use the same type of corrosion-resistant material, which can block and recover the liquid that is sucked into the pump or that has not been condensed in time.
c. Replace the starting capacitor.
